Billy Dennehy has been promoted to the role of CEO at Kerry FC.

Former Cork City winger Dennehy - who has held roles as manager and sporting director at Kerry - has been promoted, "recognising his incredible contribution to the club’s growth and success".

A Kerry FC statement on Dennehy read: "Billy’s deep connection to Kerry and his steadfast commitment to our community resonate perfectly with the values that define Kerry FC."

Tralee native John Wall has come on board at the Kingdom club chairperson and co-owner. 

Wall - who is now based in the United States - will bring "passion, loyalty to his roots, and leadership experience to the role," a club statement read. 

On the partnership with Wall, the club added: "His vision and values align seamlessly with our club’s long-term ambitions, and we are excited to embark on this next chapter together, as we look forward to building on the collective efforts of every person who has contributed to making Kerry FC what it is today."
