Danny Murphy has left his role as Head of Women's Football at Cork City with immediate effect, the club have announced.
The former City full-back took over the Women's senior side in May 2022 and penned a new two-year deal to remain with the Leesiders back in September.
City reached the Women’s FAI Cup semi-finals for the first time since 2020 and finish ninth in the Women’s Premier Division in the 2024 season.
But in a short statement released by City on Tuesday evening, it was announced that Murphy would be leaving the Rebel Army.
"Cork City FC can confirm that Danny Murphy has left his role with the club with immediate effect.
"We would like wish Danny the best of luck for the future."
