Mark McHugh has added some spice to an already appetising Ulster final between Armagh and Donegal.
The 2012 All-Ireland winner, whose brother Ryan is part of the Donegal panel, said one of Armagh's main issues is that they "think they're a lot better than they are".
McHugh referenced an interview with 2002 All-Ireland winning Armagh manager Joe Kernan on Off The Ball in which he listed his top five football teams right now.
"Armagh is a funny team," McHugh told RTÉ Radio One's Saturday Sport.
"I listened to Joe Kernan yesterday and he was saying his top five. He had Dublin, Derry, Galway, Armagh and Mayo as his top five. He didn't have Kerry in it, he didn't have Donegal.
"That might be one of Armagh's biggest problems. They think they're a lot better than they are, and I'm not saying that they're not a good team, but they put themselves up at that top pedestal.
"Armagh haven't won a major trophy in 16 or 17 years and for them to think that they're in the top three or four in Ireland, I think that might just be their problem."
McHugh said he believes that Armagh have "good footballers" and that they have "really improved this year".
"Pound for pound I think that Donegal are the better footballers at the minute but that doesn't mean that they're going to win tomorrow," said McHugh.
"As a whole, I think Armagh have come on this last number of years but I still don't think they're where they think they are. Armagh are talked about by a lot of people but I wouldn't put them in the brackets of the top five or six teams in Ireland, definitely not. That doesn't mean that they can't win tomorrow because they can. It's a 50/50 game.
"Even if they do win tomorrow, that doesn't put them in the top four or five in the country in my view. Galway have won Connacht championships, Mayo have won Connacht championships and have gotten to finals the last number of years. They're way ahead, Kerry are way ahead in my view.
"The people of Armagh put themselves on a pedestal and wait for the fall!"
