The All-Ireland SHC semi-finals are upon us and first up will see Kilkenny take on Clare and here is everything you need to know.
The match takes place in Croke Park on Saturday July 6 with throw-in at 3pm.
The game will be shown live on RTÉ One. Coverage starts at 12.15pm with the Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Camogie Senior Championship quarter-final between Dublin and Kilkenny preceeding the game with throw-in at 12.30pm.
This is the third consecutive semi-final where Kilkenny take on Clare. A in 2022 and 2023 Kilkenny made the semi-finals directly as Leinster champions with Clare as beaten Munster finalists and All-Ireland quarter-final winners.
Kilkenny have won the last four championship meeting between the sides and remain the only team in this year's championship to go unbeaten with four wins and two draws under their belt.
However, Clare have beaten Kilkenny twice this season, defeating the Cats in the Allianz NHL by 0-19 to 0-16 in March in Ennis and then in the final by 3-16 to 1-20 in Thurles in April. Can Clare overcome Kilkenny for a third time this season? Or will Kilkenny's championship winning run over Clare continue with the last championship win Clare had over Kilkenny was in the 1997 All-Ireland semi-final.
