The Leinster club SFC quarter-final between St Loman's of Westmeath and Wexford's Castletown Liam Mellows, which was due to be played on Tuesday evening, has been postponed due to fog in Mullingar.
Leinster GAA said a new date for the fixture will be confirmed on Wednesday.
The game was originally scheduled to be played last Sunday but was rearranged for midweek as the majority of Castletown's team are dual players. The Wexford side played a Leinster Junior Hurling Championship round one tie against Moorefield on Saturday, winning easily.
Last week, St Lomans' star John Heslin expressed his annoyance that the game was being played on a Tuesday night.
"You know, people work," he said.
"Not everyone just works down the road, in the post office, or as a teacher. There are loads of different jobs and people are asked to play in a very important game on a Tuesday night. It means so much to the club and to the whole country and they're asking you to play on a Tuesday night. Like, would you play on a Tuesday night?"
The winner of the St Loman's and Castletown clash will face St Mary's Ardee in the semi-final on November 23rd.
