This year marks 125 years of dedicated service by Cork County Council to the people of Cork, celebrated here with an Irish Examiner special publication featuring a selection of stories and interviews highlighting services available to people living in and visiting County Cork.
You can click on the link below to flick through the 32-page e-magazine, with stories on services such as the 'Explore' app guiding visitors to the many touristic highlights of Cork, interviews with startup businesses thriving with the help of grant assistance and mentoring, and tours of great heritage houses and must-see historic monuments located all across the county.
This e-magazine is just one part of Cork County Council's celebrations of its 125th anniversary. Members of the public are also invited to visit a special exhibition in Cork County Council Headquarters, County Hall, Carrigrohane Road, Cork, Ireland [Eircode: T12 R2NC]. The Exhibition is currently on display in the foyer in Cork County Hall and members of the public are welcome to visit during office hours.

The Council has also produced a commemorative book entitled ‘Cork County Council: 125 years of progress 1899–2024'. This covers some key events and activities throughout the 1899-2024 history of the Council. The book is available to purchase for €5 from designated bookshops throughout the county.
