What should the next government do to make life better for students in Ireland?

This is the question that student activist Jane Cowan addresses in the first in a new Irish Examiner 'solutions journalism' podcast series which looks at the issues that matter to voters in Election 2024.

The podcast series is part of the Irish Examiner’s wider Your Voice Your Vote election coverage.

The "My Message to the next Dail" series will see activists, commentators and subject specialists from various fields set out a solutions focussed message to the next government, whoever they may be, on what they should do to address an issue close to their heart.

In this episode we also talked to students from UCC who set out the challenges that they feel students are facing in Ireland today.
