Cork jewellery store Bauhaus is the latest in a string of businesses to announce its closure.
The accessories shop opened more than six years ago in the Cornmarket Centre, but will close its doors for the final time on February 17.
Jill, Ruby, and Noelle from Bauhaus announced the news on social media on Thursday night.
A statement read: "To all the customers and friends of Bauhaus. It is with great sadness that we are announcing that our doors will close for the final time on February 17.
"Jill, Ruby and Noelle would like to thank you all for your custom and support over the last 6 years.
"We would like to express our gratitude to the management and staff of the Cornmarket Centre for your care and support since we opened our doors.
"We have enjoyed our time here and the friends we made along the way. Our customers became friends and we wish to thank you all."
Bauhaus is hoping to secure a new premises over the next few months and said they would keep customers posted.
"But till a new chapter opens this one will come to an end."
All gift vouchers for the store which sells "trinkets, treasures and jewels" will be honoured until Saturday, February 17.
It comes as a a number of Cork food businesses have announced closures over the last few weeks.
Last week, White Rabbit Bar and BBQ on MacCurtain St announced it would be closing its doors for the final time on February 4 after nine years in business.
It joins other restaurants Nash 19 on Princes St, Tung Sing which operated on St Patrick's Street for 60 years, and Pigalle, which operated on Barrack St for just over five years.
