A book of evidence was served on a 20-year-old woman accused of having cocaine, MDMA and cannabis for sale or supply in Cork City.

Viktoria Karpinski, with an address at an apartment at 40 Princes Street, Cork, was served with the book of evidence in the case investigated by Detective Garda Ruairí McGovern.

She was charged with having cannabis, MDMA and cocaine and being in possession of these drugs for the purpose of sale or supply on September 26 at her home.

She was charged with having these drugs for sale or supply at a time when their combined value exceeded €13,000 — a charge which can carry a minimum 10-year sentence unless there are exceptional circumstances.

And finally, she was charged with being the occupier of the apartment and knowingly permitted to take place the manufacture, production and preparation of a controlled drug.

Frank Buttimer, solicitor, represented the accused.

On the application of Sergeant Aisling Murphy, Judge Mary Dorgan sent the case forward to the next sittings of Cork Circuit Criminal Court commencing on October 29.

There was no objection to bail previously on condition she would surrender her passport, provide a phone number and be contactable by the investigating garda and sign on twice a week at the Bridewell Garda Station.
