Man treated for injuries after shot fired in Dublin
No arrests have been made and garda investigations are continuing (PA)

A man has been treated for injuries following the discharge of a firearm in Dublin on Friday night.

Gardaí responded to reports of a shot fired in the Shancastle Close/Shancastle Avenue area of Clondalkin at around 9.15pm on Friday.

A man aged in his 20s subsequently presented at Connolly Memorial Hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The scene has since been examined by the local Scenes of Crime unit.

No arrests have been made and garda investigations are continuing.
