A male cyclist has died after being struck by a lorry in Dublin.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the collision which occurred at the junction of College Road and Castleknock Village at 4.30pm on Thursday afternoon.
The cyclist, a man aged in his 50s, was fatally injured in the collision. No other injuries were reported.
The body of the man has been removed from the scene to the Mortuary in Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown. Arrangements are now being made for an autopsy.
Castleknock Village is currently closed to facilitate an examination of the scene by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions have been put in place.
Investigating gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses.
Any road users with camera footage who were travelling in the area at the time have been asked to make this footage available.
