Gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses after the alleged assault of a child in Dublin on Friday evening.
The incident reportedly took place at a bus stop on the Ballymun Road at around 9.50pm.
Gardaí say that the alleged assault on the child was by an adult man.
They are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward.
In particular anyone who may have been in the vicinity at the time or with direct knowledge of the incident are urged to contact Gardaí.
