A motorcyclist has been killed in a crash in Co Donegal.
The single-vehicle incident happened on the R257 at Bunbeg at approximately 2.50pm on Wednesday.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, was fatally injured.
The local coroner has been notified, and arrangements will be made for an autopsy examination.
The road where the accident occurred was closed for a time to facilitate a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators, but it has now re-opened.
Gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses.
Any road users with camera footage and who were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí.
