Two men arrested in connection with the investigation into the deadly explosion in Creeslough, Co Donegal have been released without charge.
The explosion occurred at an apartment block and a nearby Applegreen service station in the Donegal town at 3.20pm on October 7, 2022.
Four men, three women and three young people, ranging in age from five to 59, died in the blast. All of the victims were from the area around Creeslough.
The two men, both in their 50s, were detained on Friday, for alleged offences contrary to the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act 1997.
They were detained under the provisions of section 4 Criminal Justice Act 1984 at separate Garda stations in Co Donegal and have since been released.
A statement from gardaí said: "The investigation led by Gardaí in Donegal Division is ongoing with the intention of submitting a file to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
"An Garda Síochána has no further comment at this time"
