6. Fitness in Wexford

For a staycation to get your pulse racing, Thistledown Lodge is a gorgeous boutique B&B on Wexford’s Hook Peninsula where you can combine a chilled getaway with bespoke fitness retreat. That’s all thanks to its innovative owners, Enda MacMullan, a designer responsible for the property’s soothing interiors, and Martin Matousek, a personal trainer.
