His mum Polly struggled to find socks that were comfortable enough for Andy to wear. So, she did some research and ended up creating a range of socks of her own.
Made from bamboo fibre, Polly & Andy socks are incredibly soft to the touch and have a seamless toe, so there are no lumps or bumps to bother sensitive feet.
There are many different types of socks, from stripy and spotty ones to tie-dyed and leopard print. They cost from €7 a pair but if you act quickly, you may be able to nab some bargains in the January sale. You’ll find the full range at pollyandandy.com

Every new year brings new evolutions in the online world. It’s difficult for parents to keep up and children can struggle without that parental guidance.
This is why the ISPCC is running two webinars. The first is a one-hour session for parents and it will cover internet safety and the skills required to support young people online.
The second is a 30-minute session for parents and young people aged 12 and over. It will teach young people how to navigate the internet safely and advise them on dealing with cyberbullying and upsetting content.
Both sessions are free. The parents’ webinar takes place at 7pm on February 7. You can register at exa.mn/ISPCC-online-webinar
The parent and child webinar will take place at 7pm on February 8. To register see exa.mn/ISPCC-online-webinar
