For sale with Cashel Mart auctioneers, a 59-acre parcel of land in South Tipperary is attracting such a level of attention that the agents are considering putting it up for auction.
At the time of writing, it is for sale by private treaty and available in lots, with offers on the table for both lots.
“It’s a lovely property,” says selling agent Alison De Vere Hunt. “It’s well maintained. The residence is a little bit dated but a little bit of modernisation is all that would be required — it’s a turnkey property, really.”
The holding is in the townland of Corbally, overlooking the village of Clonoulty, approximately 12km from Cashel.
“There are farm buildings with the property too,” says Alison. “They would need a little bit of updating too but they’ve been very well maintained.
“The land is well drained and is of top-class quality. It’s all in grass but if you wanted to put it into tillage, you could.”
The property also comes with annual entitlements which are currently worth in the region of €3,500/annum. Lot 1 consists of 4.7 acres and Lot 2 consists of 54.6 acres, including the house and farmyard.
“It’s such a nice package, I can see why there is such interest in it,” says Alison, who adds that the price guide is €1,000,000.
