Macra has launched a new campaign under the Make the Moove mental health initiative.

Over the next four weeks, Make the Moove is operating the 'Ewe Okay?' campaign which will send out a pack with two coasters and teabags to those who get in touch.

Macra president Elaine Houlihan explained: "This campaign is to encourage people to take a 10-minute break from their busy lives to sit down and have a chat over a cup of tea with someone.

“Asking for help or confiding in someone about your mental health can always be the hardest part but we at Make the Moove are here to help, so if you need any support feel free to reach out to us as all."

If you are interested in taking part in the campaign, you can claim your free pack by heading over to any of the Make the Moove’s social media accounts or visiting its website.

Make the Moove started in North Tipperary Macra in 2018 to help combat and raise awareness around suicides in the farming community.

Since 2018, the initiative has grown from strength to strength offering counselling, awareness talks, training, and more recently, a crisis response team.
