The Vitesy Eteria is a compact, eco-friendly air purifier, perfect for personal spaces and small rooms. Combining innovative technology with sustainable design, it offers an alternative to traditional HEPA systems by eliminating the need for disposable filters.
The Eteria has a clean, minimalist design. It feels premium with its ceramic photocatalytic filter and recycled materials. Its compact size and lightweight build make it easy to move around, a feature that sets it apart from heavier, stationary air purifiers. The understated aesthetic can blend into any setting, from a home office to a living room.
However, its compact size may not suit larger spaces, so consider your room’s dimensions before investing.
The unit consists of a USB-C power supply and a small puck-like monitoring system that magnetically attaches to the purifier's base. The monitoring system is designed to be portable, allowing you to monitor air quality in different parts of your home. If an issue is detected in a specific room, you can simply move the air purifier to that location. This setup also enables you to track the air quality of your entire home or focus on specific rooms as needed. I like the idea of having separate monitors that can work independently of the air purifier, but I couldn’t find a place to buy them separately.
Unlike traditional air purifiers, the Eteria uses a washable ceramic photocatalytic filter. This eliminates the recurring cost of replacing HEPA filters. The sustainability factor is a big win, but it comes with a learning curve — cleaning the filter regularly is necessary to maintain performance. Vitesy recommends doing this once or twice a month. The filter is brittle, so care should be taken not to drop it.
The purifier effectively eliminates bacteria, mould, VOCs, and even outdoor pollutants like PM2.5 particles. I noticed an improvement in air freshness within hours, but its performance against odours was less immediate.
There’s no display on the Eteria, but you can see the real-time air quality through the Vitesy app. Equipped with sensors for VOCs, CO2, humidity, and temperature, it precisely tracks air quality. The accompanying Vitesy Hub app offers detailed insights, allowing you to adjust settings remotely or let the purifier run on auto mode.
The Eteria operates quietly but is noisy at higher fan speeds. Its silent mode makes it suitable for bedrooms. It also has lights inside the unit that can be seen through the top cover. However, you can change the fan speed and turn off the lights using the custom mode. Consuming less energy than a standard LED bulb, it’s a guilt-free device you can run 24/7.
The Vitesy Eteria is a smart, sustainable choice for those seeking compact, portable air purification. Its eco-friendly design and filter-free operation are a big plus, though its compact size limits it to smaller spaces.
