Here is a selection of people starting new roles with Port of Cork Company, Bank of Ireland, Codex, Accenture, Principal Connections and Ogier.

Ann Doherty has begun her role as CEO of the Port of Cork Company. She brings 30 years of executive level experience. She was previously CEO of Cork City Council, overseeing Ireland’s largest boundary extension, and helping with Cork to become one of the 100 EU net zero emission cities. She was also a national director with the Health Service Executive (HSE). She chairs the board of Mercy University Hospital, and sits on the board of UCC Student Facilities & Services. She holds an MBA from London South Bank University, a postgraduate diploma in Management Studies, and diplomas in Nursing and Healthcare Leadership.

John Feeney has been appointed as CEO for corporate and commercial with Bank of Ireland, while also joining the group executive committee. John is currently head of property, project and asset backed finance at Bank of Ireland, having joined in 2023 from Mizuho Bank, where he was head of European Banking. He previously held a range of senior roles at Lloyds Banking Group, Henderson Global Investors, and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and worked in London, Singapore and Tokyo. “John’s experience will be extremely valuable to both the division and the wider group as we build on our established strengths,” said Myles O’Grady, CEO, Bank of Ireland Group.

Audrey Jenkins has been promoted to head of customer experience with B2B office supplier Codex, a role encompassing customer service, continuous improvement, and customer experience. She has managed the customer service department at Codex for over five years. She joined Codex initially as a temp to support a system migration, steadily rising through the ranks. Prior to Codex, Audrey held several roles at Eir, including head of customer advocacy, where she developed expertise in process improvement and customer satisfaction. Her leadership experience spans over a decade, during which time she spearheaded numerous initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiencies and customer relations.

Ray Daly has been appointed as the head of financial services business in Ireland with Accenture; he will lead Accenture’s portfolio of work in financial services, which spans banking, capital markets and insurance. Ray also joins the Ireland leadership team.  Ray has 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, supporting organisations across the globe through complex change and large-scale business and technology transformation. He recently led Accenture’s banking practice in both Ireland and the UK, and prior to this, Ray held a number of senior roles within Accenture’s financial services business. Ray holds a Masters degree in Business and Management Information Systems from UCD.

Chloe O’Regan Murphy has joined executive search and headhunting firm Principal Connections as a practice leader – executive search. She previously spent more than a decade with Korn Ferry, initially in Paris, before latterly transitioning to the Dublin office as a senior associate for EMEA. There she led the recruitment of senior executive and leadership talent for an international client portfolio. During her earlier career, she worked with the Ministry for Health in Paris. “I‘ve long admired Principal Connections’ as an executive search firm. I’m looking forward to bringing further firepower to the team and to advising clients on leadership and executive talent,” said Chloe.

Richard Kelly has joined professional and legal services firm Ogier’s banking and finance team in Ireland. Ranked by both IFLR1000 and Legal 500, Richard is a structured finance and capital markets expert. He advises international and domestic clients on all aspects of debt capital markets transactions, with a specialisation in structured finance, CLO, ABS and other securitisation products. He is the current president of the EU and International Affairs Committee of the Law Society of Ireland and regularly chairs working groups of the Irish Debt Securities Association. Richard's appointment now brings Ogier's Dublin leadership team to 15, with a total headcount of nearly 100 in Ireland.
