Luke O’Connor went from working as technology recruitment consultant with Morgan McKinley to selling vintage football shirts and jerseys from a stall in the Marina Market in Cork.

The journey didn’t stop in Cork though. Luke has since gone full-time selling jerseys out of his own store in Barcelona.

In this episode of the Irish Examiner’s ieBusiness Podcast, in association with PwC, Luke talks to business journalist Cáit Caden about why he decided to move his business abroad and what it’s like being an expat at a time when many countries are protesting against tourists and newcomers amid housing shortages.
