Chris Mee's EHS International is expanding further acquiring mental health training firm The Dennison Training Academy.
The academy currently has a diverse client base, including IrishJobs.ie, VOYA Organic Beauty, Magna International and Bulgari.
It was founded by Louise Dennison O'Shaughnessy who now takes the role of Director of Mental Health & Wellness at EHS International, which currently has a team of over 100 spanning Ireland and the UK.
Established in 2018, the academy offers tailored programmes to foster resilience, reduce stress, and promote mental wellness in the workplace.
The academy’s integration into EHS International will not only expand the scope of services offered but also meets a growing demand from EHS International clients for bespoke mental health training solutions, EHS said in a statement.
"This acquisition is aligned with our mission to provide comprehensive EHS solutions that address the full spectrum of workplace health and safety needs from our offices in Dublin, Cork, Belfast and London," Chris Mee said.
"Our clients can now benefit from enhanced resources that support not only physical but also mental and emotional health."
Ms Dennison O'Shaughnessy said: “Joining forces with EHS International is an exciting step forward for The Dennison Training Academy. Chris Mee is a respected professional and a true expert in the EHS field, and I am looking forward to working closely with him and his team.
"Together, we will be able to bring essential mental health resources to a broader audience and make a significant impact on workplace wellbeing across various industries."
EHS was established last October through the amalgamation of five companies to create a single entity providing safety and workplace consultancy services and training.
Beginning his career as a Marine Engineer and later as a Safety Engineer in Intel, Chris Mee established the Chris Mee Group (CMG) in 1996, which he sold in 2021.
