Kerry-based protein bar makers All Real Nutrition has announced plans to create 50 new jobs over the next three years as the company further expands its operations.

It follows a recent investment of €2m in the Farranfore company, as the protein brand works to grow its business further both in Ireland and the USA.

Founded in 2017 by Niall Harty and Ross McDowell, the pair began making protein bars under the brand 'Origin' in their kitchen, selling them at local farmers' markets before moving their operations to their Kerry factory, with the company's products now sold across Ireland.

The company's products are stocked across SuperValu and Centra stores following the company's success with the Musgrave Food Academy. The brand has also recently launched in Circle K, with aims to be stocked in 2,000 store across Ireland by the end of this year.

"It’s a really exciting time for us here at All Real Nutrition," said Mr Harty, co-founder of All Real Nutrition. "With this significant investment, we look forward to not only expanding our product range, but also expanding into new markets.

"We have dipped our toes in the U.S. market but this is something we really hope to build on over the coming months.”

In 2023, the Kerry company received €700k from the Employment and Investment Incentive Scheme (EIIS) as part of a €1.65m seed round. Speaking at the time, Mr Harty said the funding would allow the team to "bring All Real Nutrition to the next level of growth in Ireland and beyond.”
